also excited to see nsbb continue their post-putting-up-330-against-me freefall.

quite a difference a day makes. vazquez, webb and cueto combined for 2 points, while dempster threw up 37.5 and the hand sanitizers hit two grand slams. don't feel 100% confident at this point, but it helps knowing you only have two starts left.

 

losing soriano sucks pretty hard, but boy am i glad no one was interested in trading for david murphy!

Earlier tonight I thought I had it wrapped up, but then Santana imploded and turned what looked like a good outing into negative points. I still lead by over 15 points (with a few games still going on) with one start apiece tomorrow, but it's closer than I'd like it to be. I need for Maddux to have another good outing.

I was starting to get very uneasy (my lead had dropped to about 4 points). Then Micah Owings imploded in the 4th and his score turned negative. I'm now up by 17.5, so I'm feeling more confident. Pitching decisions we both made today turned out to be the difference. I had a positive start on my active roster and a negative start reserved, and he had exactly the opposite (at least up to now; Owings could still turn it back positive again).
