Great, why is someone with a .218 SLG this year hitting 6th?

Trying to outdo Johnson batting 5th a few days ago and the Dodgers batting Sweeney 5th yesterday.

I really, really, really hope that the Jim Edmonds experiment is reaching its conclusion.

There's no way that this bum should be hitting in front of Soto. Absolutely no way.

Lou Piniella is a giant moron. I am seriously sick of his crap. The White Dusty strikes again. Seriously, Soto 7th? Good thing their best hitter is now batting behind a 38 year old Jim Edmonds.

That's fantastic.

I've been on the "hating Lou" bandwagon since the beginning. Search a few threads from last year where everyone basically told me I was wrong. The Cubs career parallels are just beginning, and will continue when we miss the playoffs in September somehow. Remains to be seen if we bring back Macias and Neifi to bat 1 & 2 after Lee breaks his wrist again next April.

Now, we will win like 17-4 tonight and I will look like a moron and Lou and his "give up" lineup dominates. At least thats what I hope happens. Go Cubs.

Soto hitting 7th? Good Lord.

I almost want to root for Edmonds to fail miserably in every at bat just to get him off the team ASAP.

I want him to dive head first into the brick wall, not killing him, but injuring him just enough to be out for the season. I don't really want the guy hurt, but it seems like it's the only way to get him out of the lineup at this point.

Well, Reed Johnson can't hit RHP's either. It's a lose-lose either way. Thanks, Hendry.

I like listening to other announcers, unless it's Joe Morgan, so I'm going with ESPN... until they reference Bartman. Then I'll switch over.

So I'll be switching over with two down in the top of the first.

Berman and Sutcliffe tonight. Oh loooord...

Nothing says ESPN like two drunk rambling idiots calling a game.

Tdicag?

Cedeno is playing and everyone is crying about Edmonds batting 6th? This might just be his last gasp and Lou is giving him a decent shot.
