Wow, Dallas Baptist up 3-0 early too.

Way to go Rebels. Once you fall into the losers bracket in a regional you are pretty much fudpucked. We've made game 3 of the Super Regional in the last 3 seasons....it ends this year.

You suck, you underachieving twits.

I dunno about that. Mizzou lost their first game 2 years ago, and came back and beat the 1 seed twice to take it. Sure they got run over by Fullerton in the Super Regional, but it's possible, especially in a crazy regional like this one.

Still 4-0 Mizzou in the bottom of the 7th.

Well, I felt that if Mizzou had any shot at this regional they would have to throw Zagone today, hope for a win, and then throw Crow against Miami. I really don't see us winning a game the rest of the weekend, unless Bethune-Cookman pulls out a miracle today.

I could see Gibson beating Miami, and I could definitely see Zagone/Berger beating Ole Miss/B-C, but I don't have a lot of confidence in winning a 4th or 5th game against Miami.

Is Jamieson putting Gibson back in the rotation or is he using him as a reliever still?

The local high school team could beat Ole Piss.

Zagone has had a horrible year.... IIRC, he has been in the pen lately.

He's been used in the pen or rotation when needed. He started the year mostly in the pen because of an injury.

I wish Zagone could've cont'd what he did after his Fresh. year. I seen him play in HS at PR, I drive by his house all the time, he's a good kid that comes from a good family.

He's kinda moved himself up the line, to the point where he started ahead of Berger one weekend after Berger got tagged a couple times.

Wow, I hadn't really noticed he hadn't started in that long. I don't know now, although a piggyback Gibson/Tepesch start would have some firepower for a 4th or 5th game. With Berger/Zagone I don't know if we get to that point though.

YES! UCLA wins it in the bottom of the 9th with a walkoff E-3!

Crazy game. Virginia had the bases loaded early in the game with no outs and UCLA pulled the hidden ball trick to get the runner at third and then picked off the runner at first in the same inning. And just now, with runners at first and second and one out in the bottom of the 9th, Cody Decker grounds one to the third baseman and the first baseman loses the throw in the sun allowing the runner from second to score!

Go Rider.

Alabama will an impressive victory over East Carolina.

Hey vance, it seems that Alabama and LSU are only two SEC teams that wants to continue playing baseball.

UC Davis beats Stanford for the third time this year today, this one coming by a 4-2 margin. GO AGS!! \:D/

They'll face Pepperdine in the winners bracket tomorrow and if they pull that one out, they'll be in great shape to advance to the Super Regionals.

I'm nervous to tell the truth. I just don't see LSU winning out when they've already won 21 straight...but so far, it's been one hellova run.

Is Stanford ever going to beat UC Davis in any sport?

Well, Stanford did beat UCD in women's water polo a couple weeks ago, does that count? :D

But in all seriousness, we have had their number over the past few years. The win in football is still the best but this one is close because it's the postseason.

A walk down memory lane for ya: football, basketball and of course, yesterday in baseball.
