Lou is starting to wear on me. This is too Dusty-esque. As you can tell by the name, I'm a drinker, but did Lou do this type of stuff last year? Like announcing Daryl Ward, then bringing in Cedeno to pinch hit?

Yes.

Brewers have the bases loaded with only 1 out in the bottom of the 8th.

Good win, besides the Marmol part.

Isn't this something like the 2nd win trailing after the 6th inning. 2nd after the Colorado game. I'm probably missing a couple.

Yost calls for a squeeze. Kendall misses and Hall is tagged out. They don't score. God bless Ned Yost.

Is that what happened? Gameday just says Hall out at home. I assumed it was a wild pitch ala Fontenot. I doubted the awesomeness of Yost.

Yeah and the broadcasters, who are the Brewers guys are just dumbfounded.

Kendall missed the sign. He didn't even attempt to bunt at it.

So who is everyone rooting for between the Cards and Brew Crew? I mean you want the Cards to lose so we can get a share of first place, but over the course of a season I think the Brewers will be the better team. Personally, I'm just rooting for a 26 inning game that blows out both bullpens.

Cards. I know they will not keep this up.

I'm still not sure who to root for in this series. Personally, I'd rather be in a pennant race with the Cardinals because it would be even more satisfying to see them blow it.

Brewers, although I like your scenario too.

So wouldn't you be rooting for the Cardinals then? If they end up sucking later in the year, wouldn't a win here be meaningless for the Cubs by September?

#-o Yeah that's what I meant.
