Fairly soon, teams pitching against Ryan Theriot will employ a defensive shift that puts six fielders in short and medium right field.

Or they'll just trade for Ronny Cedeno. He can do the work of six fielders simultaneously.

I'm glad I turned this game off back in the 5th inning.

All the fake rallys and horrible bullpen pitching will leave me with less and less hair to pull out later in the season

Even if he could, he'd still get passed over for Theriot.

Stupid Cubs management playing a guy with a .400 OBP. Morons, I tell ya.

That ump is a moron.

I'll say. He called Ramirez out on that same pitch.

I agree, but I am getting tired of umpires thinking they have to confront everyone who disagrees with them. Do they not understand competitive emotion? Lieber was frustrated, he didn't even say anything. At least it didn't look like it.

Total Crawford here. It's the new breed of ump with the high horse mentality and the giant ego. They kill me...totally inconsistent, yet they get alarmed when players and managers get critical of them.

I just don't want you to get into a jerkstore moment here.

Hyaahahahaha!!!! They are running out of me.

Really? I didnt know that. Must have happened when I stepped out. What happened to crawford?

Taken to a hospital for unknown reasons. He "wasn't feeling right." Seemed to be chest-related.

Ruh roh!

This guy that took his place probably came here straight from the Kane County Cougars game or something. It's like last weeks Angel Hernandez strike zone.

If we're going that route, Cedeno's is better.

Of course, nobody would ever be silly enough to make a small-sample argument for no reason other than to be pointlessly argumentative.
