I have no idea who everyone likes, I know Vance is a Cowboy fan, and im sure alot of you are Bears fans.

Kiper's Mock Draft

14 Chicago Bears Chris Williams, OT Vanderbilt

22 Dallas Cowboys (from CLE) *Felix Jones, RB Arkansas

28 Dallas Cowboys *James Hardy, WR Indiana

30 Green Bay Packers Antoine Cason, CB Arizona

McShay

Chicago Bears -- Ryan Clady, OT, Boise State

Dallas Cowboys (from 10-6 CLE) -- Felix Jones, RB, Arkansas

Dallas Cowboys -- DeSean Jackson, WR, California

Green Bay Packers -- Brandon Flowers, CB, Virginia Tech

And Vance, If im a Cowboy fan, I would LOVE the James Hardy pick. I think he will be the best of the bunch for wide outs

With the Jones trade now complete I am not sure the Cowboys would want Jackson as much. Before his intrigue was as a receiver and returner. Should Oakland pass on McFadden, I would not be suprised to see him try for a last minute trade with KC who has made it very obvious they would not mind trading down for extra picks.

I guess we will find out in another 4+ freaking hours

And I would love to see Limas Sweed slip down to #28, but the Tennessee trend of taking Longhorns in the 1st round will probably continue. I would take him over Hardy in a heartbeat.

I'm a Packers fan. I hope a good cornerback is there for them by the 30th pick. I hear the CB class this year is very weak.

You shouldn't admit this on this board ;-)

It's not extremely deep, but it's certainly not weak. There's a good chance the Packers will have one of Mike Jenkins, Aqib Talib or Antoine Cason available at 30. Any of the three would be a solid pick for them.

Michael Smith reporting that the Rams have decided on Chris Long.

My falcons board

1) Dorsey

2) trade down

3) Ryan

Even though I wouldn't put it past the Falcons to take him, I wouldn't want Ryan in my top 3. The only options I would consider would be Dorsey or trade down.

the only thing is that we have to get some value for trading down.

i don't want ryan and he was always my third choice (jake long, dorsey, ryan).

but if the rams take dorsey and nobody will trade up to us, i would be ok with ryan

I would be shocked if the Ravens weren't willing to give up value to get Ryan ahead of the Chiefs.

I just see no good reason to take a player at 3 when there are players just as good (if not better) who will be available in the second round - Brian Brohm, Joe Flacco, etc.

i agree, i don't want ryan unless he is really the only option.

i took dorsey in the mock draft

oh yea, the ravens don't have a third round pick they can trade

and they have not been willing to give up their second round pick

Well, not all hope is lost for you.

Flowers, Cason, or Talib (if he's still there) would be great picks at #30. And the reason this draft isn't exciting this year is because it's not a real top-heavy draft. It is a good draft when it comes to depth though, and that's why I'm interested in it.

You raise a good point, but Adam Schefter just reported on NFL Network that the Ravens are, in fact, trying to swap with the Rams to get Ryan.

The intrigue builds, my friends...

I think Kiper is on the money with the Cowboys picks provided the draft goes as expected. Roy Philpot of the Ranch Report also says those will be the Cowboys first pick. If Jones goes off the board before 22, all bets are off. Also if Mendenhall slides, the Cowboys would take him at 22.

Chris Mortensen just reported that the Ravens may dangle Terrell Suggs to move up to get Ryan... that would be a horrible decision by the Ravens. Matt Ryan is simply not that much better than Brohm, Henne, Flacco, Woodson, Ainge, etc.

From Matt Mosely's latest blog on ESPN.com,

Pretty wild scene outside of Radio City Music Hall. A man in a Cowboys Roy Williams jersey was being escorted to the back of line by police. He apparently tried to horse-collar an Eagles fan

I'm putting on my bitter Notre Dame fan face and whining about why everyone seems to want Matt Ryan but Brady Quinn was left to dangle until pick 22. How many interceptions did Ryan have to throw before people fell out of love with him, anyway?

Woodson

what the hell happened to him?

He's still around, but his flaws have knocked him down a bit.

Honestly, I think both he and Ainge are very underrated in this draft. Both should be much higher on boards than they are, in my opinion.

My dream situation would be for the Cowboys to trade #22 to Detroit for Roy Williams and then take the best available CB at #28, but I don't think it'll happen.

Ryan benefits for being the best QB in this draft. Last year, that was Russell. Ryan gets the hype for any team that might need a QB. Unless someone goes crazy and trades up, I don't see Ryan being a top five pick, and he could slide out of the top ten as well.
