TOP OF THE FIFTH INNING

 

Nady singled to left field

Doumit flied out to left field

Bautista doubled (ground rule) to right center field , Nady to third

Bixler hit by pitch

Mientkiewicz, pinch hitting for Duke, singled to left field , Nady scored, Bautista to third, Bixler to second

McLouth walked , Bautista scored, Bixler to third, Mientkiewicz to second

Sanchez grounded out to third, 5-3 , Bixler scored, Mientkiewicz to third

Bay walked

LaRoche struck out swinging

The next time up look and see if you agree with me that Murts butt goes back when he swings. It was very obvious in the 1st AB. The one that he blistered to LaRoche you can see him do it too in the robo cam view.

 

Do I even want to ask why you were taking a particular interest in Murton's butt?

 

Because if he is moving backwards with his butt in his swing it means that he is swinging with just the upper body. Which may be a leading reason that Murt tops so many balls into the ground and his power numbers arent quite like what would be expected.
