Wasn't his name something similar to that?

BTW: Three hard hit balls for the Cubs, none safe. Oh well, at least they are doing it in a blow out.

Yeah, James Hoye. Someone - I think TT - made a hilarious post about how he didn't deserve to be called by his real name so we stuck with Boyd.

that wasn't the game where cedeno overslid second base on a WALK was it?

I'll put it this way. If we leave Marquis out for 120 pitches, I don't think many people will complain in the same way we did when Zambrano went over 100 in his most recent start.

How much complaining has there been of his play this year? .

You obviously haven't read too many game threads this year. My favorite: the "BE HURT THERIOT" comment(s).

To be fair, we aren't complaining about his play to date this season. We are complaining about the likely level of play the rest of the season.

Wow-1. complaining about play that hasn't even happened yet. That's an effective strategy.

2. Its something a GM has to do every day on his job.

Even Neifi has had stretches where he walloped the ball. I

3. I know everyone's a wannabe GM, but last time I checked, no one on this board was getting paid by the Chicago Cubs to make personnel decisions. Fans in general need to understand their roles a little better-it will do everyone a lot of good.

What stupid thinking. Just because somebody isnt in baseball means we cant have our opinions, and our opinions are automatically wrong? So by that logic there are no stupid people in any profession because they are in that profession, right?

Actually, that's not even close to what I wrote. My comment has to do with the relevance of those opinions, not the validity.

Read the comments again and see what comment I was referring to. I've highlighted them in the quotes.

No problem with the move. Give Lee some rest.

I hope so. If it were even an inning later, I'd have given it no thought. It just worries me a bit.

Lee out of the game... umm I'm worried about that for some reason

Maybe Lou's giving him the same part of the game off as he did with Ramirez a game or two ago?

I dunno, it just seems like 7-1 is too close to do that. I know it's not like 2-1, but it's not 15-1.

No, it was the one where an Astro hit the GW home run on strike 5.
