Anyone selling tickets to the series? My girlfriend hasn't ever been to Wrigley, and I'm wanting to take her on a weekend trip without having to buy tickets from a broker. My preference would be the Saturday game. Thanks!

Good seats still available on cubs.com

Unless it's a marquee series/weekend, never assume they're sold out. And for the future if you're looking for seats to a game that's "sold out" you can usually pick up tickets in the days before when they re-release some. That's all about timing though.

Actually, that series is only scattered singles right now. It gives a bunch of seating choices but you can only select 1 seat.

Based on what they did for the first homestand, though, I'd say that there is a good chance they'll release some seats before the start of that homestand. Of course, saturday games are going to be harder to get, especially as we get closer to the summer.

I've never had problems in the past just posting a message on here and getting tickets. Just figured I'd give it another shot. Before I book a hotel room and ask her to go, I want to have the tickets in hand. Don't wanna wait til the week before so I can actually plan the trip out a bit. :)

I'm gonna have 2 extra bleachers for Friday (May 16) if you want them. Edited by NIUCub

Looking at the weather your safest bet looks to be Sunday. Friday and Saturday are looking like rain may be a factor. I'm curious...if Friday and/or Saturday's games get cancelled will they do a traditional DH on Sunday or will they go the D/N DH / open date later in the season / DH later in the season route? I would suspect if both F/S get rained out that they would want to play two on Sunday....otherwise there'll be a bit too many consecutive days of rest for the bullpen.

You're predicting weather a month in advance?

Watch out, Truffle - this guy is gonna take you out.

Hey sorry smartass. I misread the title which is actually pretty easy to do considering the OP was talking about a weekend series such as the one coming up. My question is still relevant regardless. :stickman:
