I had this idea for a thread where each post completely summarizes the discussion for a particular player. The idea is that we'll only have 1 post for each player but we won't need more. I'm curious to see how it works. I'll start with Mark Prior:

 

loved him in 2003-04

disappointed how things turned out

ruined by Dusty Baker

questions about his manhood

towel drill jokes

sad/ disappointed/ relieved/ glad he's gone

 

That takes care of Mark Prior. Now I want to see people summarize different players.

I think you'd have a problem doing this for very recent departures, due to the fact that there is probably still some split sentiment on some of them. For example, the summary in the OP.

Seriously, nobody loves Ronny Cedeno. They'd just rather see the better option play, much like what happened with Theriot and Izturis last year. It's pretty damn clear that nobody here loves Theriot, right? (Well, for the most part, at least...)
