I'm telling you... Aramis doesn't like walking in 'clutch' situations like this and he will do anything to avoid it. Just like in the first inning when he grounded into the DP with a 3-2 count. He reached for that one too.

I'm not sure what Jon Lieber did last inning to suggest htat bringing him out again would result in anything but a loss.

BWAAAA EVERYBODY FREAK OUT!!!!!!!

is it not justifiable?

I dunno, people saying they feel sick and are going to puke and are going to get wasted seems a little bit much to me. The game isn't even over. It's also April 7th.

To be honest, not really.

Obviously, it's fine to be pissed about them possibly losing this game, but the end of the world hyperbole is pretty damn annoying. I understand it, and in the game threads I deal with it, but it's really not justified.

Maybe giving up a fly ball that should have been caught, followed by not letting the ball leave the infield?

Did you miss the part where we spectacularly blew a 7 run lead? Is it too much to expect a team to hold 7 run leads?

Agreed. Except Ramirez will actually work the count into his favor sometimes before he starts swinging wildly.
