Even as a Colts fan I can admit that the Giants have been mugging the Patriots receivers all the way down the field. Of course, that's the same thing the Patriots did in the Patriots/Rams Super Bowl and the Colts/Patriots AFCCG in 03, where the Patriots were only able to win because of just holding on to the receivers constantly. So I can't feel too bad for them.

It was legal then, though.

No, it wasn't. Those rules have been in place since the early 1980's. They had just started to be called less and less until the referees were instructed to start calling the rulebook again in 2004.

The Giants winning this Super Bowl would almost be as much of a joke as the 06 Cardinals winning the Series. Screw the Giants.

Oh great, Chad Johnson's ego continues to grow.

Oh come on, Johnson is awesome. He's egotistical but he does it funny - unlike TO

No it wouldn't. The Cards had NO BUSINESS being the playoffs in 2006, much less winning the World Series. The Giants on the other hand would have earn it. Winning something like 11 in a row on the road, and beating TB/Dallas/GB in route to the Super Bowl, tells me, they want it. Much like the Steelers of a couple of yrs back.

Don't even compare the joke of the 06 Cards to this yr's Giants team, cause they are not comparable.

Not even close. The Giants had the third best record, along with Seattle, in the NFC and the seventh best record in the NFL along with Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Tennessee.

The Cardinals were the fifth best in the NL and the 13th best in the majors.

I'd say the Cards were a much worse team relative to the rest of baseball than the Giants were relative to the rest of the NFL.

If the Giants win I will be very disappointed. I'm not even a Patriots fan. I hat N.Y. teams in every sport. We will most likely never have the opportunity to see what the Patriots have done this season again. I just think it would be a shame for them to lose it in their final game.

Sure, whatever.. "They want it"

The second lowest seed in the NFC winning the Super Bowl is a joke. Flukes like that will happen now and then, but it still pisses me off when a team that's nowhere near the best wins a championship.

Not a Pats fan? What's with the sig? I feel like I've been seeing that for a long time, not just the past couple weeks.... :-k
