HOLY CRAP STOP THE PRESSES. Did you happen to see the conditions yesterday afternoon? It was like a white-out at one point. They did okay.

I disagree. Green Bay's defense has a good chance of knocking off New England.

Green Bay's defense would get ripped to shreds by New England.

Dude, I hate the packers, but this is a false comment. Packers are stacked in the secondary. And their front seven is incredibly fast. With that said, they wont beat the Patriots. If they do, I will never go home.

the packers secondary will get flagged for more pass interference penalties in super bowl history if that's the matchup.

I was going to post the same thing. The Packers secondary is very good, but they won't get away with all that contact against Brady's team.

exactly..their corners are too physical to not get called on it...whoever covers moss will be good for at least two.

The Packer's fans didn't miss that game. It just didn't count because of the following reasons that I've heard so far from the idiotic fans of the green and urine gold:

1) They just didn't want anybody getting hurt in the cold.

2) They got caught looking ahead to the playoffs.

3) The game really didn't mean anything (even though it did), so they didn't try as hard.

4) If it hadn't been for the packer's punting game, they'd have won.

5) The Bears just got lucky. Again. Any other day, the packers would have won.

Believe me. I live in Wisconsin, so I've heard it all.

My hatred of Green Bay and everything that is the packers knows no bounds. Actually, I don't mind the packers much. It's their fans I can't stand. They have got to be--without a doubt--the most obnoxious breed of sports fan around. They are incapable of any rational thought when it comes to their team. They get diarrhea just thinking about how "great" their football team is. Want to know how I know this? Green Bay is the toilet paper capital of the world.

You know how annoying we find it when Sox fans say things EXACTLY like that about us. Yeah it doesn't sound any more intelligent or any less annoying when it comes from packer-haters.

Yeah, you do know we scored 42 yesterday right? Not counting the Bears game, we put up over 30 or close to 30 points in every game in the 2nd half of the season. Offense isn't a problem for us.

Yeah. you do know the Patriots defense is slightly better than the Seahawks' D, right?

You mean all that trouble he had throwing 3TDs? And running the ball? That hasn't been a problem either. Grant was the best RB in the league not named LDT since week 8. I never said weather wouldn't play a factor I just said the packers are historically good in the frigid temps

The last time it was as cold as it will prob. be was GB vs. Jacksonville in '04.

At least Sox fans will admit to having a bad team. They'll let their players know it, their coaches know it, the owner know it.

I have seen packer fans defend brett favre's drug use. I've heard packer fans defend mark chmura when he was charged with raping a 17 year old girl ("they were both drunk and she consented!"). And this hasn't come from one person. This crap was talked about on the radio and on TV ad nauseum. So again, don't compare the crap Cub fans get from the White Sox with the lunacy uttered by packer fans.

Yeah, I just had a terrible childhood, being the only bears fan in a rural wisconsin town. I cant stand most bears fans either to be truthful

Congrats to the Chargers. They made the big plays, despite playing with backups at QB and RB (though Turner isn't your average backup). It's tough to win a game against a good team, or any team, when you turn the ball over four times deep in the opponent's territory. One of the most disappointing Colts games I can remember. Even with the return of Freeney, the Colts need another pass rusher. It's an extremely important position in their defense, and, despite having two great ones, they need depth there.

I don't think anyone should write in stone the NE-GB Super Bowl matchup. That's what I'm predicting, but it wouldn't stun me if one lost. I had been saying all year the NE-Dallas SB wasn't a lock. Strange things happen in sports.

Noticed I said Chmura was charged--not found guilty. So don't let that "silly little fact" get in the way. Even though he admitted to drinking with a bunch of teenage girls (including his own child's babysitter, who accused him of raping her) in a hot tub. Those must be silly little facts, too.
