According to rotoworld...

 

Cardinals re-signed infielder Aaron Miles to a one-year contract.

No word on the terms yet. Miles was due $1.5 million-$2 million in arbitration before the Cardinals non-tendered him. Since he has proven he can handle shortstop on a part-time basis, Miles isn't the liability he appeared to be in his two full years in Colorado. Still, he's also clearly not the kind of player who should be getting 400 at-bats per season, as he has with the Cardinals the last two years.

 

I guess this is the move that will put the Cardinals over the top...

Gives me hope we can finish in a position other than last.

 

Last isn't really all that bad. If you're team is going to suck, might as well be really good at it, eh?
