I think the Bears need to give up on that experiment that has Hester as a WR. It's so obvious what the playcalling is going to be when he's in there.

 

And the Bears have a +4 turnover differential, yet they're only up by 1. Watch the 'Queens come back and win. The talking heads might as well just annoint them as the NFC Champs if that happens.

 

14 catches / 206 yards / 1 TD. Not bad for a guy everyone knows is getting the ball.

The guy's fast as hell, but he doesn't have any hands at all. Plus, it always looks like he's out of position when he goes out to line up. And if I remember correctly, most of those catches came against the Lions in the game at Chicago when the Lions were playing prevent in the final 6 minutes or so of that game. He also had a few catches in that final two minute drill against the Eagles back when they were giving them the middle of the field.

 

I shouldn't worry about it, but I don't think it's worked out as well as many were hoping it would.

 

And yes, I'll agree that the grounding call was terrible.

It's just too bad Urlacher is wasting one of his best games in a hall-of-fame career tonight. INT, fumble recovery, 2 sacks (only 6 tackles, seems like more than that). He's been all over the place.

Zero chance. Lovie still gets to try blaming his coordinators once before he gets the axe. Turner and/or Babich will get the guillotine first, either this offseason or perhaps next if there are no improvements.
