The Nationals and Aaron Boone have reportedly agreed to a one-year, $1 million contract.

Boone can serve as a backup at second and third for Washington. He would have made more sense for a team with a left-handed hitter somewhere in the infield.

I missed the original title. Did it say he signed with the cubs? Regardless, I think the Nationals are now the clear cut favorites to win in the NL East. They're over the top, Stallone style

it did say the cubs originally. The player tracker had CHC beside his name on MLB.com, so I posted that without looking any further. Next time I will have to do a little more research.
