The Cubs begin their 2008 slate Thursday, February 28 against the San Francisco Giants in Scottsdale and play their first home game of the spring the next afternoon against San Francisco, the start of the Cubs' 15-game schedule at HoHoKam Park.

The Cubs enjoy a stretch during which they play six home games in eight days between March 13-20 and conclude their Arizona portion of the schedule Thursday, March 27 against Milwaukee, also the HoHoKam Park finale. The Cubs then wrap up their 2008 campaign with two games in Las Vegas against the Seattle Mariners March 28-29.

thanks much for posting - I've been keeping my eye out and now I can start scheming for the March roadtrip. A perfect way to battle baseball withdrawal!

I might take a little mini-vacation and head out to Spring Training for a couple days. How hard are tickets to get? Do I need to be online the minute they go on sale, like with regular season tickets?

I've only been out there for one ST and tickets were so easy to get. I wouldn't worry about it. There is lots of room to sit. And tickets are cheap. If I recall, like $6ish.

Outside of *maybe* the White Sox-Cubs games, no.

When I went, you could book a package through visitmesa.com and get your tickets with the hotel reservation.

And after a year off, I think I'll be going this spring.

tickets are not $6, and there is not lots of room to sit (unless you want to sit on the grass in the OF, and even then, i wouldn't say there's lots of room).

if you want good seats to cubs home games, you should try and get them asap...i usually go after them the day they go on sale.

Well, when I went, I felt there was lots of room to sit, and I did mean the outfield grass as well as seats. And, my tickets were fairly cheap...I thought around $6. Sorry if this information wasn't absolutely correct. I'm not an information guide. Just going on my past experience.
