UCLA up 41-23 at the half on Washington. Love, Mbah a Moute and Westy have been awesome.

Time to switch over to the game at Galen.

Washington State vs. USC on Comcast if anyone wants to see a good game.

That or Blazing Saddles on AMC.

Final score will be in the 50s. WSU will win by less than 10. Mayo will jack up 25 shots, make less than 40% of them.

I'm getting the game on my local FSN, is the feed going black every few seconds for any of you guys too?

Right now, these teams are on pace for a WSU 46-38 win.

UCLA won by 14. WSU won by 15. 4 vs. 5 Saturday at Pauley...wish I had tickets. Hope Collison can go after the hurting his hip today (and having food poisoning earlier this week).

BTW, the USC Fighting OJs fell to 0-3 in the Pac-10 and remain in last place.

So the fighting OJs and Beasleys both aren't very good.

UCLA gets its first 09er in 5-star F Reeves Nelson from Modesto, CA. Great news with so many open scholies for 09. Watching the videos, he reminds me of Brockman.

I saw that kid play in the Sac-Joaquin Section D-V title game at Arco Arena last year as a sophomore. Dude was all over the court doing everything and was good at it also. Both my friend and I came away very impressed with him (we weren't there to see him, rather just a couple section title games and Modesto Christian happened to be playing).

EDIT: Holy crap. Just looked up that game on maxpreps and Reeves had 19 points, 19 rebounds and 8 assists in the game. WOW.

Thanks, I thought there was a chance you might have seen him since you cover prep sports in the Sacramento and northern San Joaquin Valleys (and you're from Modesto). I'm pretty excited, especially after losing the Wear twins to UNC (though I'd rather have Nelson than both the Wears).

Darren Collison (hip contusion/food poisoning) and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute (knee contusion) are probables for this mornings big game against WSU. Yay. Wish I was at Pauley..

Hopefully Modesto Christian will make the Sac-Joaquin Section title game again this year - I'd like to watch him play again.

UCLA up on WSU 35-22 at the half. They had a 26-8 lead with about 9 mins to go too. WSU got an off-balance three at the half too, better not get any momentum from that.

Notre Dame's going to lose to Marquette. Big.

Now the next three games (vs Cincy, @Georgetown, @Nova) become huge. We have to steal one of those road games. The selection committee has proven over and over that if ND leaves it up to them they're going to leave them out of the tournament, so they have to remove all doubt.

Kentucky leading undefeated Vanderbilt 60-55 with 2:30 left. But more importantly, Gus Johnson is announcing.

DePaul wins a crapfest vs. St. Johns 60-54. Whatever, though, a win is a win. 3-1 in the Big East

Look for Nova to lay a beatdown on them Wednesday in a revenge game.

Wow. Roy Hibbert just drained a 3 to give Georgetown a 72-69 lead.

EDIT: It's the second three pointer....of Hibbert's CAREER.

Down goes Vandy. And near the end of the second overtime, Gus gave his patented cackle. It was awesome.

Meanwhile, WSU is down 60-51 to UCLA with 4:30 left.

Damn, wish I could have heard Gus today. :(

Thank God Collison made his FTs, UCLA holds on for an 81-74 win. Holy crap...WSU made 6 3-pointers in the last 1:30 and Derek Low went off for 24 pts in the second half (I think 21 of them were beyond the arc; he had 0 pts in the first half).

Love did drop 27 and 14.

Mizzou shoots out of their mind from 3 and upsets #12 Texas 97-84.   Hopefully they can carry this through the week into Ames against Iowa St. and against Kansas next weekend.

What the hell! I've been sleeping the last three hours (a little hung over) and when I woke up I fully expected to see the score say Texas by 20+! Damn the basketball team! Now I may have to go to some games.

I forgot to pick up the KU ticket so I can't go to that game. I'm not happy about it.
