My windows stopped going to page not found about 15 minutes ago and are now refreshing normally, so even though they're probably all sold out, I guess I'll keep them going.

It says all 3 games are sold out now. You can probably stop trying.

And my windows stopped refreshing, anyways.

Oh, well.

After looking at the secondary market, now I'm just depressed.

Of course, we should all be thankful that several years ago Tickets.com increased their server capacity for processing orders once tickets were reserved. It can still be a pain to get tickets once you get through the VWR, but it's nothing like it used to be early on with the VWR. I feel bad for those who had seats come up only to have them time out and then not get any more.

I had about 40 open at work this morning, but the page kept freezing up. I'm jealous of those of you who were able to get through and are now, as a result, going to make thousands.

yeah, it's too bad you guys weren't able to prevent real rockies fans from paying face value for tickets to a once in a lifetime event.

The way I look at it is if the Cubs were to make it to the World Series (hahahaha yeah right), some enterprising Rockies fan would surely buy my ticket and sell it to me for even more than I would be getting for a Rockies World Series ticket. It's capitalism and I don't feel bad for doing it.

Well it's really more an example of Free Enterprise, but I understand what you're saying. I've particapated in selling tickets in the past as well. Doesn't make it right though.

Yeah, I see what rocket is saying. But if it comes down to 1) letting some random person that I don't know go to a game, or 2) spending an hour of my time buying and selling tickets, and in turn making thousands of dollars in that hour... I'm going with option two every single time.

Absolutely.

The Rockies could have avoided a good chunk of "outsider scalping" if they hadn't waited so long to sell their WS tickets and had sold them before they clinched like the other teams. I'd be willing to bet that more "real" fans would have been able to have gotten them.
