I'm not so sure I would be bragging if I was you. There are a number of worse things that have happened to UCLA football over the past few years. :wink:

Ball State pulled off a 27-23 win over WMU in which they led for about 2 of 60 minutes of the game. They took a 20-16 lead at one point that lasted for 2 plays of the next drive and then took the lead for good with about a minute to go. Exciting, though not well-played, game.

 

And to be perfectly fair, the refs set up our game-winning drive by screwing WMU out of a full yard that cost them a 1st down with about 4 1/2 minutes to play, forcing a punt.

 

BSU is now responsible for half of Bill Cubit's 4 home defeats in what is now his 3rd year as Western Michigan coach.

I was just going to say it must be nice to be a michigan o-lineman and know holding rules don't apply to you. seriously, on that sack a few minutes ago the lineman was hanging on to the defender by his arm and they hook on virtually every run. I guess the refs are too busy making sure no michigan facemask touches an illini player.

Oklahoma State hits a FG with 2 seconds left and goes on to beat Kansas State, making the Big 12 North an apparent two team race between KU and Mizzou.

 

Standings

1. KU (3-0)

2. Mizzou (2-1)

3./4. Kansas State/Colorado (2-2)

5. Nebraska (1-3)

6. Iowa State (0-4)

 

Next week KU is @ A&M

Mizzou is home vs. ISU

Kansas State hosts Baylor

Colorado is at Texas Tech

 

Hopefully A&M can pull out a big win at home and Mizzou can move into a tie for first.
