That was awesome, as EY is pimping the DBacks' pitching, the graphic on the side is displaying the pitching numbers for both teams, which clearly favor the Cubs.

Expect Bartman overload. The farther we get, the more Bartman we'll get. Give it to me!

I also love how ESPN implied that a WS might actually be bad for the franchise. I love that one too.

Somebody has got to come up with a better international sports network. Something that's not so fluff and biased... One where every other fact doesn't make you think of the "O RLY" owl. Hard-hitting facts. I think NBC can do it. CBS is right behind them.

I have seen nothing on ESPN that offers anything even remotely close to being insightful baseball commentary.

I just watch Baseball Tonight for the highlights and their sometimes funny jokes.

Orestes Destrade is a funny, funny man. Name That Molina indeed.

Get used to it. We are going to see that Bartman video 100's of times the next couple of days and beyond.

Someone at FSN needs to realize that they need more national programs, and that they should be pushing the Final Score hard as a Sportscenter alternative.

Not sure if this is the same or not, but Mike Greenburg just did a segment on the TV version of Mike & Mike that was all about Bartman, too.

Well maybe the network idiots will be so busy with Bartman they'll forget to dust off their little goat graphics and "baaa!" sound F/X.

Cubs fans who love to wallow in the artificial misery of curses and bad luck call Game 6 The Bartman Game. Cubs fans in the know call Game 6 The Alex Gonzalez Game.

I think it's a matter of Cub fans realizing at this point it wasn't just Bartman -- so why show only that one play ad nauseum?

Whatever the motivation, it feels to Cub fans like the networks would like to create an atmosphere where another "curse" moment will occur that will bring down the Cubs again. And of course they'll be right there to cash in on it.

Am I the only one who's wondered often about that play if Moises doesn't spaz out and just walks back to his place in Left if we win the game?

You aren't. But I'm done talking about Bartman today.

Getting Lester Munson on there to be the only dope that is still angry at Steve Bartman. Well done ESPN. Well done.

I for one was angry at Bartman for about 5 minutes.

Like most sensible people, I was angry about being a Cubs fan for much longer than 5 minutes, acknowledging that it's hard to believe in this team at times, and then have them justify any doubt in them in horrific fashion.

I think it's still outlandish how Bartman's name just "showed up" in the Sun-Times. Jag Mariotti mentioned how it was unfortunate that we all ganged up on him, and that he wrote how stupid Bartman was; but, of course, no real apology from Jag was to follow in the ample space left in his column.

Bingo!!! My wife has asked about it, told her what Bartman did was immaterial to outcome of that inning, the big play was Gonzalez botching that potential DP grounder.
