If those two seats were the only ones left, would you have still bought them?

The answer for me is clearly yes.

probably. but they're not the only seats left.

Well I hope you can at least see home plate / pitchers mound. That will make it much more enjoyable.

I think if I had a choice between having to croon my neck a little to see portions of the outfield, or having to deal with people walking in front of me the whole game, I would choose the former. So hopefully there won't be much of the latter for you.

yeah, after thinking about it, it's not as bad as i initially thought. in fact, i probably wouldn't complain about it if i knew going in there was going to be a post there...but the seller's dishonesty is what really pisses me off. i think we overpaid regardless and even more so with the post there.

but i agree...i'd rather be in the first row behind a post than in the fifth row behind the post.

my dad called and asked for a full refund...we'll see what happens.

hopefully the guy will be ok with it. at least this way he'll get the tickets back and he can try to sell them again. his other option is to be forced to give us our money back (through ebay or paypal) and not get the tickets back in time to sell them before the game.

Ya if you used Paypal you will get your money back for sure and he would be pretty well screwed so it would be in his best interest to give you your money back right away.

i realize i'm fortunate to be going, but it's still pretty scummy to not mention that in the auction. i think you'd still be able to see home plate even from the first seat, and i'm sure we can move our heads around, but still...

no no no....it's the "charm of wrigley field" to sit behind a post

I don't think it'll be too bad, my friend. You can just move your head a bit when stuff heads out to LF.

I just bought a seat in section 511 from stubhub for Saturday's game. About as far up as you can go, but looking right down on the infield. Had buyers remorse for about half a second (because of the cost). Totally psyched now. There were definitely closer seats available (for a steep price), but from the seatdata site, it looked like there was a good chance of obstruction. I will probably have some obstruction of the outfield as well, but at least a clear view of the infield.

I've got 228-2 (row 8) on Sunday and was wondering the same thing.

Also.....I got my game one ticket today and its section 235, row 9, seat 7....and it has "limited view" on it...of course the e-bay seller didn't mention that either

Anyone know anything about 228-2 or what I can expect from a "limited" view? all info apppreciated.

I'm looking at a ticket in 213-3. Anyone know what the "-3" means??

I'm not sure why they started using that designation, but as far as you're concerned, the "-3" meaningless.
