not alot of friendly names here

The NLDS between the Chicago Cubs and the Arizona Diamondbacks, which begins on Wednesday at Chase Field, will be officiated by Montague, the 32-year Major League Umpire. Montague will be joined by Sam Holbrook, Greg Gibson, Mike Everitt, regular season Crew Chief Mike Reilly and Mark Carlson. This marks Montague's seventh Division Series and his 20th postseason assignment overall.

going into the Marlins series, the Cubs were 2-8 in their last 10 with Reilly behind the plate.

it's also likely that the Cubs won't have to deal with the culprits that cost us a chance win a couple ballgames in Atlanta. both Tschida and Wolf are working other division series, so I don't think they will be in later series.

Just don't give the DBacks 2 feet off the outside corner and I'm good. I have no stats, but it just seems every time opposing pitchers are allowed to throw way off the plate outside for strikes, that's all they do for the whole game and we struggle.

Our pitchers are good enough at the top of the order to win without having to rely on outside pitches 90% of the time. I don't think the same can be said of the DBacks, outside of Webb.

It always bothered me when Umps had that kind of strike zone, but it really bothered me that our hitters didn't try to go to right field and our pitchers never took advantage of the outside strike. I'm not saying that it's right, but if the ump is consistently calling the outside pitch, you need to adjust your at bats and your pitching.
