being on TBS. No listening to that Joe Buck. I've gotten to the point where I have to watch AFC football on Sundays just to avoid him.

How about the worst thing? The fact that they will not be on high-definition.

Did anyone watch the Padres-Rockies last night? Absolutely horrid picture.

I really can care less about the announcers as long as I get high quality watching experience, especially considering it's the playoffs.

I'm beyond pissed at TBS having these games. I can care less if Joe Morgan, Hawk Harrelson and Tim McCarver are doing the games together as long as they are enjoyable visually as they are supposed to in this day and age.

we get to listen to Chip Caray instead

I'll take Chip over Joe

I'll take Chip over Stockton. Dick Stockton is brutal.

every time I hear Stockton's voice I think Bears and Lions for some reason

I'll take him over Joe Buck for a season. Even if he is brutal. I just don't want to hear Joe Buck call a Cubs game, at all costs.

The game last night was in high-def, and it looked good.

I don't know if they'll be able to put all 3 games on Wed in high-def though.

I beg your pardon? Are you in Chicago? What provider do you have?

I'm under the understanding that TBS does not carry HD in this market. How did you get in HD?

...through the miracle of DirecTV. You should try it. We get all the HD sports first, basically. I've had TBSHD since Sept 28th.

Per Chicagosports.com...

Cubs fans will be able to watch the playoff games in HD on Comcast.

Currently, TBS does not have HD assess on Comcast, the area's largest cable provider. However, Comcast spokeswoman Angelynne Amores said the cable company expects to launch TBS in HD in the Chicago area Wednesday in time for the game.

I'm on a two-year hook with Dish Network ](*,)

It's surprising how much better Joe Buck is when he's working with the excellent Troy Aikman instead of Tim "Worse than Joe Morgan" McCarver.

I personally think the best thing about baseball on TBS is that we get to see Craig Sager's suits every game. Amazing to think about what that guy's closet looks like.

If it were up to me, I wouldn't mind Joe Buck calling a few Cubs games yet this year.

Really? I just can't take him anymore. I'd take Chip over Buck, any day.

Let me think of a hyperbolic example. I'd take that Brewer play-by-play guy over Buck (Brian Anderson) :P

"and the Cubs are within Grand Slam range!!"

I think he meant the only way that the Cubs will get Buck is if they make the WS, and he happily would hear him in order to watch Cubs WS games.

Well, I mostly mean that if Buck is calling more Cub games this year, something wonderful has happened with the Cubs that hasn't happened in, oh...61 years or so.
