From my source at the Nats:

vs.WSH: August 22-24

Thanks a bunch...updated in a sec to reflect this. Wow we are going to have one of the first 3-4 series at the Nats new park

3/31 - 4/2 - vs. Brewers

4/29 - 5/1 - vs. Brewers

7/28 - 7/31 - @ Brewers

9/26 - 9/28 - @ Brewers

Thanks again. I love the fact that we are ending the season against the Brewers, as well as starting it.

When was the last time the Cubs opened at home? '02?

Yep. They've opened at Arizona or Cincy every year since '04. It was getting a little monotonous.

Wow. The Cubs don't open in Cincinnati?

My thoughts exactly... and thank god.

Also, 3/31? Does that mean we have the MLB Regular Season opener?

Found the Blue Jays and Tampa Bay tentative schedules. Tampa Bay's schedule lists 6 straight days to play the Cubs, so I am assuming that there is an error and we will only play 3 of those days. We will also be visiting Toronto. Check the first page for dates

3/31/08 is a Monday. More like than not, somebody will open up Sunday night, 3/30.

August 25-27 at Pittsburgh.

What's this "series A" and "series B" stuff against Tampa?

Tampa for some reason has six days in a row listed of playing the Cubs, so we're assuming that they haven't decided which trio of the two is the real series.

Gotcha. Thanks.

It makes sense that the Cubs would actually be in Tampa for "series A" since they're in Toronto right before that. Just a guess on my part, though.

Looks like we have some conflicting info here. The Braves say they're playing the Cubs in Atlanta August 12-14, but you have the Cubs playing in Houston then.

Thanks for pointing that out...I made a mistake. In Atlanta from Sept 12-14, not August

Also Tampa Bay changed their schedule. The Cubs will be in Tampa June 17-19

I don't like the Atlanta dates at all. That's a mid-week series right after I start back to work. I usually make a trip to Atlanta, but that makes it highly unlikely.

Same here with the Rockies situation. only two games and both are mid-week. Not sure if I will be able to make that trip but I hope to. Hell it could still be snowing in Denver at that time.
