I don't get how the Braves offense suddenly becomes the worst in baseball now that they're facing off against poor Milwaukee pitching.

Because the Brewers don't have poor pitching. They are around average for ERA and they have the 3rd best FIP of any team in the NL. They have bad fielding, not bad pitching.

Then field bad again!

Heh, they have fielded poorly, they just have been lucky for the most part not to give up runs because of it. Of course last nights game winning run was because of the error on Weeks stopping the double play, so its played its part.

My bad, Braves still down by one, but Yost looks more pissed than Piniella, LaRussa, or Cox ever did.

Every call on the day has gone against us so I'm not too surprised. They were all pretty close calls though.

Get that buffet spread going, Ray King is in for the Brewers.

DOUBLE! Braves lead!

And some reactions from the Brewer fans...

That one's on you, umpiring crew. Ned should have just punched the 2nd base ump in the face. It would have driven his point home emphatically, and we wouldn't have him managing us for the last week of the season!

This is unbelievable. Next time the Braves are up, I suggest a fastball right at the head of the home plate umpire first pitch of the inning. Rivera to stay down and make no attempt to catch the pitch.

Umps 5, Brewers 4

Man. What a train wreck.

We're down to 'needing a miracle' territory for the playoffs in the last 7 games.

In a sad way it is almost appropriate for Jenkins to end the game swinging at a curve in the dirt.

I hope it cost the Scrubs another $300 million to buy these umps. Boo!!

Mmm... their tears are so yummy!

What did Cartman say to Scott Tenorman?

Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness.

You buncha losers!
