I was freaking out there with Sam Fuld nearly getting picked off. Nice 1-2-3 inning 9th for Dempster. :)

 

actually the Cardinals got themselves out, Dempster had nothing to do with it.

 

Dempster making good pitches sure did help the Cards get themselves out, though.

Corner Gas is a good way to erase the awesome feeling I had after the Cubs win.

 

WGN should never be watched except for a Cubs game.

 

Scrubs and Bulls games are ok, the rest is garbage.

I never watch it unless Scrubs or a Cubs game is on, but I had to see how bad that show was.

As would I. The whole posing thing is just epidemic at this point, and few seem to be taking exception.

 

Can you imagine if Pujols/Soriano/Braun, etc. did that to someone like Bob Gibson? Yikes.

 

But at this point it's really just business as usual.

Yes, but the games he did that were 6-2 or larger leads.

 

Wood's behind Marmol, Howry, Dempster, Wuertz, and Eyre. All of those pitchers have shown more overall then Wood has. Your 6th best reliever simply doesn't often get to come into those types of games where a team is tied or in the lead.
