They aren't playing 5 games better than both the Cubs and Brewers in a 2 1/2 week span. Christ, die already.

400 seems pretty generous.

- Do the vendors even bother to show up?

- Do TV stations waste their time, or would they just make like WGN and show reruns of Moesha instead?

- It would be awesome to show up and either cheer at the top of my lungs for the home team, or heckle the crap out of the visitors and umpires for three hours straight.

- Maybe the owner has been losing on purpose in order to drive attendance down, get out of the stadium contract, and move the team to Cleveland.

If they didn't play the Brewers three times and the Cubs four, I would give up hope.

 

So until they're mathematically eliminated, I'll continue watching and hoping that they can somehow squeak into the playoffs in what can only be described as an absolutely pathetic division.
