True, but if DLEE, Sori, Ram and Z just stepped it up we'd be running away with this division.

 

If Lou wouldn't stop putting useless junk in the starting lineup at C, CF, and RF, we'd be better off.

 

Kendall's done well. Who else plays CF? Pie has been clueless at the plate.

I don't know how anyone can possibly expect Pie to hit well when he has been lucky to get 1 at bat per week.

Part of the blame falls on Hendry with this one, considering the production the Cubs have gotten out of Koyie Hill and Rob Bowen while Geovany Soto goes and wins the friggin PCL MVP.

 

However, I think putting Pie out there every day would work out for the best. Let him play through his slumps; he'll be fine.

I think you should post that in the Transactions thread too, no sense in only posting it in two threads just to get a rise out of people.

 

Do you have Premium? Why don't you block abuck? You obviously don't like him.

But we have a pretty good idea what Jacque will do...

he'd probably be a solid 3/4 at boise

I wonder if Russ Ortiz wasn't available. After all he won 20 games once.

Certainly. But as the big guys are struggling I think it's a good idea to do what's best to help the team win (actually, I'd do that even if they weren't struggling). Starting Tracshel over Marshall isn't good.

 

What's Marshall ERA in Aug 6.00ish? Plus, I'm not so sure he's not hurt. He hasn't pitched in two weeks.

Then I would rather we go with Gallagher. Hell I would rather we tell Wood to let it fly til his arm falls off. Trachsel has nothing.

No I think that he has a dead arm from pitching a lot of innings. The Cubs wanted to rest his arm a bit and get a veteran in there that has dealt with playoff races. The logic is there, but I would never agree with the decision.
