I love Murton, but a baserunning guru he is not.

 

No hes not but if its a young kid who does the crap Ward has done twice the last week, they would be benched or sent down. You cant affort that ignorance while in Sept, and your offense is struggling.

You are acting like our other options for RF are gold glovers. None of them can field, and Murton is no worse then Floyd or Ward.

 

Jones and Pie are both pretty damn good fielders.

Yeah...I'd say that unless it rains till midnight they get it in....(still raining though and doesn't look to stop anytime soon)....another option woudl be to do a double header AT Pitt...or, one back here at the end of the year "if necessary")

Knowing how Larussa is, I see no way that he would agree to giving up this home game and doing a DH at Pitt. With that said they will wait till prob 7 pm if need be to get this game in. Pitt has a short flight back home and doesnt play till tomorrow night, and Stl goes out to Arizona, but they dont start till late tomorrow night.
