Thanks for the help, Vance. I just ordered Extra Innings. ($60 is a bit steep for one month, but what the hell -- I've had nothing but problems with MLB.tv)

Yeah, I can see that.

I get the early bird special by ordering in February. It was like $159, but they broke it up into three monthly payments.

I don't do Sunday ticket. Whenever the Cowboys aren't on here, I go to Hooters because they carry the Sunday ticket. Also, since I have Cowboys season tix, I'm going to be at 5 games in person and two of the others are national games.

That's cool. I actually got Extra Innings when I was living with my parents, so I have basically spent:

$159 for Extra Innings (first time)

$120 for MLB.tv Premium

$60 for Extra Innings (second time)

That's way too much. But oh well, its for baseball. I can justify it.

We get like one 49ers game a year here, so we did get Sunday Ticket.

Are there any restaurants or bars you could go watch Sunday Ticket at? While very few carry the baseball package, I've found quite a few with football. Since it's just once a week, I find doing that for football to be a lot of fun. Plus I can usually watch multiple games.

and Oswalt flies out to strand two in the sixth as Sheets works out of a jam. 3-2 Astros, mid 6.

I usually buy the college basketball package, but now I might not since the big ten network ruined everything. Oh and EI is the best 159 I have spent this year.

There might be. I just turned 21 so my "core" group of friends are all behind me in age and probably wouldn't be able to go to sports bars with me. We split the $260 or whatever 3 ways, so its not that bad.

Even if they were, I think I'd just spent too much money that way. I'd end up getting a bunch of beer at outrageous prices and I'd be broke. I'm already scraping by with all the bills I pay!

Haven't read all six pages - so I apologize if this has already been posted - but the Indians are about to go 5-0 this season vs. Johan Santana.

That is simply unbelievable. And an even more unbelievable testament to Santana that this is such a crazy fact. For anyone to get that kind of record off him is just ridiculous.

Is there a Hooters nearby? That's where I go and they carry it.

11-0 Bucs now.

Hopefully this crazy rout will help deplete the Cards' bullpen a bit. Considering they don't have a single day off the rest of the way, a game like today's could make a significant difference if they have to burn through an extra 2-3 RPs they didn't plan on using.
