When will the Izturis trade be completed?

I think I heard that the PTBNL would not be decided until after the season is over. My guess is that player will never arrive-the Cubs will most likely simply get cash.

What good pitching prospects do the Pirates have that are close to being ML ready, anyways? I don't have a lot of knowledge on your far system. Certainly the Pirates aren't dumb enough to include anybody good in that trade...are they?

You want Corey Patterson back? The kid is OPSing about .700 in AA. But, I guess that was good enough to get promoted to AAA.

Certainly isn't the case with the Bynum trade. I could easily see the Cubs getting someone interesting, especially since there were other teams interested in Izturis.

Supposedly it's someone currently on the 40 man, but not on the 25 man or injured. Presley's only in his second year and doesn't have to be protected.

 

This falls under the "What I've heard" category. I wouldn't bet money based on my information.
