I gave up on the Marshall arguement a while back. He is OK for a 5th starter as long as you have 4 innings worth of bullpen help. Also, people who think Im a Fontenot mark are wrong. I like the guy, I like the name, and right now, hes hitting better than Pie, which is odd considering how Fontenot is a 28 year old throw in in the Sammy trade whos never been on the radar as a top prospect and Pie is supposed to be the Cubs Jose Reyes or Jimmy Rollins. If he can prove me wrong, theres nothing that would make me happier than to eat my words.

 

I can't believe I went to all the trouble of proving Marshall is a fantastic fifth starter even for a playoff team, and all I got back was a "He is OK." All this to be followed by two pages of goofiness. I'm not gonna waste my time looking up the numbers for Pie and everybody else I'd need to make a comparison.
