Petrick/Cherry/Gallagher/Cotts/Ohman/Rapada don't work!

Jim needed to acquire a reliever and he stood Pat. End of story.

more so than a bat?

really?

rapada and piggy haven't been up here this year have they?

cherry and petrick aren't exactly trash

i think the pen is the least of our troubles right now

They've all been up. The bullpen is at worst out #2 biggest issue. #1 as far as I'm concerned.

You are on crack.

nice personal attack

who is piggy omaphelos?

hang on...

Carmen Pignatiello

The answer to your question is that Pignatiello has not been up. Rapada has and pitched to a total of 1 major league batter, and he got him out. That was on June 14th against Seattle.

Rapada was up here, I remember that quite clearly.

another bust in Ryan Gallagher....can't even get out of 1 inning. Way to go Cubs minor league system.

Ryan??

way to know your stuff.

Ryan, Sean, Jason, Arnie, who the **** cares what this scrub's first name is. Send him back to double AA. I have no idea why they brought him the second time around. He wasn't that great. Petrick did alot better than this goof.

Did Rapada ever even pitch when he was up?

I don't know about anybody else but the way the Cubs limped into this series without Soriano or Ramirez against a Rockies club that had just swept the Brewers, I would have been pretty happy with heading into the Sunday game with a 2-1 edge and the chance to win the series.

Even a spilt wouldn't be the end of the world.

Right. I'm just saying.......for all the sniping I'm reading on these last few pages, it just makes me wonder sometimes.

But it's par for the course here, I know.

That still would not be the end of the world unless you truly think the Cubs falling 2.5 back would mean the season is over.

with the fonz and ramirez back, it is

It's not. The offense is still the major issue and has been all year long.
