Some people way too hot fingered round here 'watching kendall do well' i was obviously not suggesting the replacement of kendall but the idea of giving someone a chance instead of that stiff Hill. I'm sure many will be bitching on here the next time he bats and produces nothing. Some round here are very very petty.

Dang, I was hoping to see MURTONFAN on the field doing the "Aaron 715 fan run along" next to Murton.

 

picturing that in my mind.... cracking up here.

 

i think he'd have to change pants first. not enough time.

Apologies for the graphic description, just hate seeing parts of a game being wrongly decided by an official who appears to have little clue as to what a "strike zone" is (or whatever sport the person is officiating).

 

Which reminds me, what's the story on the automatic K-Zones? Are they still being tried out in places?

Why would you run into the 3rd out, with your CATCHER, with only a 4-run lead in the 9th... 4 runs may well not be enough up in the Rockies.

5 wasn't enough in Chi either.

Agreed. A GM with half a brain would have called up Soto for Hill already. It's a no brainer move, yet he's still in the minors.

Cubs have been within a game of first for TWO WEEKS, according to Pat.

 

Very nice. (even though we haven't always looked so hot)

 

 

"Music to the ears" and quite painful all at the same time, considering our losses of 5 of 6 from 8/3-8/8.
