Cole Hamels vs. Ryan Braun will definitely be an interesting matchup. Hamels is filthy, but Braun kills lefties. Hopefully Hamels pitches as well as he did against us. The Phillies offense should definitely put up runs against Bush.

Hes 32 and just hit 500 he could have more than 300 just depends how long his body holds up and how long he wants to play

Joel Piniero makes his Cardinal debut tonight. He's hitting 8th. Pujols is also out of the lineup.

Hes hitting 8th?why?

Nevermind heres the article why lol. LaRussa is grasping for straws now, and I love it.

"I've been thinking about it for a while. Our offense has been very erratic," La Russa said. "We're just not getting enough guys on base. (What) we're trying to do is get a legitimate position player in the lineup."

"We just lost three games with the pitcher batting ninth. ... I think it's a good strategy to use. It's not like we're burning up the league offensively"

Not the first time La Russa has done this.

And Braun homers off another lefty :x

I know its not the first time, but at least the other times he did it it had to do with getting people on in front of McGwire, and not just to jumpstart a lineup.

Jesus, gameday shows that as going to dead center by a LONG shot.

It did

How far did it go?

the way it looks on gameday, it has to be at least 430.
