Fine, he still knocked it right at Iguchi.

 

And Hill and Soriano's singles were not hit hard at all.

i love that sandberg quote about bunts. yeah, his 31 career sac bunts is what got him in the hof.

 

and how many times did he hit to the right side of the infield to advance the runner?

 

Answer - a lot

 

Thats not cool or glamorous though.

 

 

Ryno never cared about his personal stats, being cool or on camera - he just wanted to win.

just because the ball was right at Iguchi doesn't change the fact that he hit the ball hard, which is all you can ask a player to do.
