Floyd's just about ready for bench duty.

He's all or nothing at this point. He either scorches the ball or he looks terrible at the plate.

Jim is blowing games by holding off on a move. Go get Dunn or Griffey already. This shouldn't be that hard,

i'm sure he can just kidnap them and that will be that.

The only reason I haven't shut this game off yet is because of how crappy the Reds' bullpen is, but go figure we won't see them tonight with freaking 4-11 4.75 Bronson Arroyo mystifying our hitters beyond recognition. This freaking blows. PLEASE get us someone who can hit the freaking ball, JH.

Just for the heck of it, why not have the I-Cubs face Cincy tomorrow?

How could it get any worse?

We could be the Reds. Or the Astros. Or the Pirates. Or the Cardinals.

Reds = WS Champ in 1990

Astros = NL Champ in 2005

Pirates = WS Champ in 1979

Cardinals = WS Champ in 2006

They are heading the same places as us, but at least they have those accomplishments to look back on during their travels to nowheresville

Has anyone else made any big moves yet?

Teams are still leveraging.

Not that I have faith in Hendry, but I don't expect to see big stuff start going down for another day or two.

I doubt it will take that much to get Dunn from them. Send one of the two lefty pitchers and Murton. We aren't going to use Murton anyway.

Hopefully the Cubs can put the awful showings of the last two days behind them and actually show up to play tomorrow. If not, we could be in very bad shape.

I know you are perennially pessimistic, but to say the Reds and Pirates are going the same place as the Cubs is patently absurd.

Do you get punished for being the first? These games we are blowing mean a lot as much as the ones in late september.

Harrang is going to kill us.
