Does anyone know if babies are allowed to enter Wrigley Field and also if they need to have their own ticket? Particularly in the bleachers? Baby is 10 months old if that makes a difference. Thanks

Under 2 do not need a ticket.

From a reasonable standpoint, I personally would not bring a baby to the bleachers, particularly for a day game, too much sun.

I would advise against a baby in the bleachers too. A home run to your section, or an outfielder throwing a ball up to you after an inning could result in drunks jumping everywhere trying to get it. If you must though, I'd suggest the back row, far away from most of the potential problems.

Well, I'll be in a party of 6 for a night game and probably in the back of the bleachers. I hope it's not a problem but if you guys have had bad experience of what not then I guess I'll have to figure something else out.

I have 2 kids and just can't justify bringing them when they were babies.

I can't imagine how difficult it would be to take care of a baby and enjoy a ballgame.

You are a brave, brave soul :)

Well to be fair, I guess I'm not that worried since I won't have to be responsible

I'm going with my siblings and my sister and her husband would have to bring their 10 month old baby. They would go just for the experience more so than enjoying the game.

Before you bring your 10 month old to a ballgame, consider what happened to Mike Coolbaugh first.

Do you really expect airborne baseballs to come up into the second tier of the bleachers? Sosa isn't coming back ...

Ballgames are fine for kids, but I've got to agree that a baby and the bleachers are not a good mix. Too many drunks, crowded, complete exposure to the elements, and the elevators are not at all convenient, so you'll be traipsing up and down the stairs and/or ramps with baby in tow.

While not the bleachers, I've taken my boys 3 and 1, to Wrigley, Busch, and Turner (Turner last year when my youngest was like 5 weeks old)...we do fine...my wife gets up with them when the 3rd 4th inning comes by and they go explore...at the new parks with the kids places it works out great...again...that's not wrigley bleachers, but, especially at night, if your 10 month old is anything like mine were s/he'll fall asleep in the 5th and you'll be fine.

Personally, I consider it child abuse to even dress up your kid in a Cub t-shirt or cap, much less take 'em to the bleachers. I've been warned about the dangers of raising my child as a Cubs fan, but that didn't stop me and now he's ruined. He accepts mediocrity willingly and allows his heart to be broken on a regular basis during the summer. Just like his Pops.

they'll be fine as long as the kid isn't walking yet . . . once they start walking . . .

Yes, but without those annual crushing lows, he wouldn't be able to appreciate the good things in life. He needs to know disappointment if he's ever going to know true happiness.

Yea... When the Cubs finally win the World Series, their fans will experience a euphoria that could very well be better than most/all other championship teams, and our grandchildren's grandkids will thank us for that.

I have taken my one year old to three games now. 2 minors (including Sunday night in Little Rock) and one in ATL to see Cubs last Sept. (she was three months at the time) Seating is a VERY important factor. Not just sun, but foul balls, company, bathroom accessability, etc. Just some things to consider. Kids and ballparks go great together, but there is some serious planning and foresight required. Hope this helps.
