Yeah, all that pissing and moaning I did in April and May about regretting that Charter got EI cuz I didn't want to watch anyway?

Watched nearly every pitch of the MIL game. And I concur with the poster who talked about their homer announcers. Seems to me very recently they had that young group of guys that was very funny, entertaining, etc. Now they seem to have their very own old coot color guy, a la Al Hrabosky. Terrible.

Wow-what a day for the Cubs in the standings. They:

 

-moved to within 2 1/2 games in the division

-took a 1 game lead over Atlanta for 2nd place in the WC

-moved to within 2 games of San Diego and LA for the WC lead, so if only 1 of them loses tomorrow the Cubs will have the chance to possibly get within 1 game of a playoff spot.

Yeah...still easily the best $$ I've spent this year....I watch parts of the Cubs, Cards, Brewers, Braves, Padres, Dodgers, Arizona and Mets game almost every night....its like crack.

While watching the Padres the past couple of days, I made the observation that while Tony Gwynn was a great player, he's a horrible announcer.
