OK, I feel like a bad sport for enjoying the Brew fans' stress, but .....heh:

from the brewers board:

My Cubs-fan friends are eating this up with a spoon and it makes me sick...I don't even want to pick up my cell again tonight

Hahhaha. I was looking at old game threads and the one from the 6/25 game where the Cubs blew it against the Rockies and then won in the bottom of the 9th has the title of: "6/25 - nevermind, cubs win"

You remember how the Cubs at-bat to Barry on Gameday had like 2 pitches clearly in the strike zone? On Bonds at-bat just a second ago where he got called out on strikes, two of the strikes to Barry were marked as being clearly outside. Anybody watching the game to know if they were or not?

i love this. all i wanted out of this series was 1 giants win. if they hold on, we could split the last 2 with AZ and still only be 3.5 gb at the most (not that i want that to happen, but i definitely want to stay about 4 gb)

Gameday has seemed wonky all day. They were all fairly close pitches.

Wow, the Brewers bullpen is in full implosion mode. If the Giants hold on and win tonight this may benefit the Cubs both today and tomorrow b/c CV and Turnbow maynot be available tomorrow afternoon (quick turnaround). Edited by 98navigator

One of them was a pretty poor call. Everything else was legit.

The strike two call was a little high and outside, I was watching the Live coverage on BBTN (I flipped over so I could see Bonds hit), and the SF announcers said that hasnt been called a strike either way all night. The strike 3 call was definitely a strike.
