I've read the thread a couple times to see a reason that the thread is in Transactions. . . did I miss something?

Everything seems to be going right for the cubs now.

I really appreciate Jones' attitude the past couple of months. He hasn't gone to the media to complain about playing time or how he's being treated. And he's made the most of the consistent playing time he's had the past week or so.

With that said, if you can trade him for someone even better, do it. Otherwise, keep him.

If jones is producing again, then you don't need to get an OF bat as much. Go after a SS, or maybe a decent hitting C :P.

I've been one of the Jacque Jones haters all along, but I have to admit that he has looked like a different player since the All-Star break, even before he started hitting. He came out after the break running everything out extremely hard and just seemed to have a completely different attitude. This team is playing too well for me to dislike anyone, so I'm going to do my best to get behind Jacque and give him a 2nd chance.

Same way, here. In fact, I couldn't even get into the Cesar trade as much as I predicted I would have . . . it's all about winning!

Perphaps he's taken the fact that he's been proven untradeable personally?

When Jacques Jones has a .921 OPS over the last 7 games, and that's only good for 8th best on the team....... you know that chemistry coefficient is off the charts, no?
