I picked other. It was from the 6/25 game, but it was in the 9th inning with one out when he didn't ground into a DP. He tried to hit into a 3-6-whatever and came up short. Then Jones pinch ran for him, and it was the happiest I've been to see Jones in a game all season, so props to Bowner.

Is this poll necessary...Bowen was what a Cub for roughly the same amount of time as Jody Gerut.

What's next, your favorite Robin Jennings moment?

That's the joke. Were Robin Jennings the guy who replaced Barrett, who was the topic of the last favorite moment poll, only to be shipped out so quickly, then yes, this thread would have been about him.

No, next is your favorite Jerry Blevins moment. :D

And yes, I think this poll is unnecessary, but it's also harmless. It's basically a way of saying "we hardly knew ye."

I had to go with other. At the DC hotel bar, Bowen comes in and was not very happy that he was attempting to order room service and no one was answering the phone.

So, I'm sitting at the bar and he walks in and calls the bartender over explaining the situation. He was not very happy at all.

That being said he is pretty nice guy. He was just a tad bit irritated.

That walk against Colorado. I remember the count getting to three balls, and I was on the edge of my seat, willing him to take more. Sure enough, the pitcher threw one outside the zone, Rob held back, and he drew the walk.

I stood up clapping, tears in my eyes. It truly is a moment that I will never forget.

I also forgot to put in that walk-off home run he had against Howry last year at San Diego.
