Could there possibly be something to Soriano not being able to hit anywhere but leadoff? He's looked bad just about his entire stay in either the 3rd or 5th slots.

 

I donno about that atleast in this situation I think it has more to do with Zito being good than Soriano struggling.

Following that AB, Soriano is a career 5 of 39 against Zito.
