I wonder if the Cubs would call up Josh Kroeger if Floyd is going to be hurt for a while. He's been great for both Tenn and Iowa.

 

I think Murton would get the call ahead of Kroeger. There's also the possibility of bringing Pie back to play CF and moving Jones to RF in a platoon with DeRosa.

I think Kenny Lofton is a lot more realistic than Adam Dunn. And honestly, he wouldn't be a bad move in center.

 

I'm not opposed to Lofton, but his addition wouldn't have quite the impact as adding a hitter like Dunn.

personally, i wouldn't even bother getting clean pants for myself, they'd just get ruined soon after

 

If the Reds ever considered trading Dunn to the Cubs, they are going to want a lot in return.

How 'bout allocating some of that blame to MLB for signing those exclusive contracts ???
