McLouth walked

Sanchez flied out to left field

McLouth stole second base , continuing to third on a throwing error, E2

LaRoche called out on strikes

Nady singled to right field , McLouth scorfed

Bay homered to center field , Nady scored

Bautista flied out to right field

This is why it's hard to count on Z as your ace. He certainly has ace stuff and pitches like an ace at times. But othertimes hes so frustratingly inconsistant.

Koyie Hills CERA doesn't get affected by this run, thats the sad thing.

 

Oh yes, it does. All runs in the inning are earned.

I'm guessing Z's ERA is back over 4

CUBS are 30-15 when their pitchers average 15 pitches per inning or less..... 14-27 when they don't

Hey fred, out of those 14 wins, how many are Z starts? I'd bet a good majority of them. Z throws lots of pitches, many times, win or lose.

 

They're pretty evenly distributed. Zambrano has 4 while Lilly, Hill & Marquis each have 3.
