I told my buddy that Jones would get 4 hits today before he went to the Police concert (lucky), he said I should stop doing drugs. I pointed out as of recently I am taking antibiotics and am a completely sober man, thus my predictions are to be reckoned with. I'm halfway to prophecy here.

It's something with the Bergmann-Jones matchup. Jones has had 5 at-bats against him this year, and has 3 doubles and 2 balls that were drilled and caught against the wall with the wind blowing in.

I was wrong about Jacque, too bad it was Ramirez.

Nats announcers are totally oblivious of ARam's knee injury.

What'd they say?

They are saying he must have injured himself on that earlier slow roller play when he threw out the runner. Someone should get them an injury report.

I think they're at least partially right. I've seen Ramirez run full bore to beat out a double play ball since he's come back from injury, he didn't look as comfortable running the bases there as he has looked in previous games since coming off the DL.

I understand what you're saying, but ARam has said he won't be 100% for the rest of the year, and it's clearly got a prior injury component to it, so they should at least be aware of that so they can mention it. At the very least it should be framed as a possible 're-injury'

What the hell? Our pitchers not named Kerry Wood aren't supposed to make that play.

That wasn't quite the glove behind the back Kerry Wood special but I'll take it.

I've heard of soft hands. Marshall has a soft gut 8-)
