the Cubs have inherited some sort of LSU voodoo this season, nice contributions from Theriot and Fontenot and Youman holds the Brewers in check. I really start to think something is going on if Youman gets shelled on Sunday :o

I don't really care who wins between Arizona and the Cards. Sure, the D-Backs are ahead of us, but I'd like to put some distance between us and the red birds as well.

Yeah-I have a slight preference for the Cardinals to win (because the Cubs still play them like 10-12 more times in addition to them already being 3 games ahead of the Cardinals-if the Cardinals are ahead of the Cubs at the end of year, the Cubs will have had plenty of chances), but it isn't a strong preference either way.

They've already scored 17 runs this season...twice. They are capable of scoring runs. They just do it in random bunches.

That's my thinking as well. I want distance in the division (which makes it easy to root for the Astros versus the Phillies). I figure the teams in the West will beat up on each other.
