Lynx and I didn't have much to cheer about from a pitching stand point.

 

Hopefully that gets better as the week goes by. At least for me! LOL!

Finally, Millwood is pitching the way I hoped he would when I kept him from last year. His , and Josh Johnson's, injuries has been a huge part of why this has been a disappointing season.

 

Unfortunately, newly acquired Silva didn't do as well. So i am in the lead, but I have used up 4 starts.

I'm happy with the current situation; a three start advantage to erase a 26-point deficit. I just need to hope this is an on week for my pitchers.

Sexson missed yesterday, is out for today and is doubtful for this weekend, so I benched him and replaced him with a reserve.

Nice 4th of July for me, mainly thanks to Washburn and Wells. I now lead by 9 plus have a 3-2 remaining pitching start advantage. \:D/

Which is exactly why I traded Webb to you rather than him; I can't help him get even better since I'm trying to overtake him. :D

yeah, but raw is clearly better than me and HBC has added penny and hawpe essentially w/o losing anything that hurts his team. and i haven't had any luck trading...everyone that's wanted to trade w/ me has asked for a player that, if i traded, would just open up another hole in my lineup.

 

i'm not holding a fire sale or anything, i'm just saying i'm open for offers. i realize that my team isn't as good as it's been the past two years. of course, i could just stand pat and hope that andruw and the drews get their act together...
