Lou speaks Spanish, right?

I recall he does a little bit.

Lou is perfectly fluent in Spanish.

That's what I thought I had heard. Surprised me, to be honest. Not that a coach or manager knows at least a little Spanish, just that he's apparently fluent in it.

This inning is a perfect example why I feel Marmol is more valuable in the setup role as opposed to being the closer.

Lou's grandparents immigrated from Spain, so he's probably been speaking Spanish his entire life.

Maybe I'm pulling something out of no where, but I think Lou grew up speaking Spanish around the house.

Isn't his background hispanic - isn't that why Steve Lyons got in trouble in the booth with him last year??

Lou's family is from Spain. I recall him saying that he learned English from nuns.

Wow, thanks, guys! I really need to go read up on my Lou history...I had no clue he grew up speaking Spanish. I assumed his name was Italian.

I am sure he is baseball fluent, I wonder if he has all of the vocab down.
